About Glimpse
We started Glimpse to replace the notebook.
If you’re managing diabetes, you already know the routine: check your glucose, write it down, remember what you ate, write that down too—in an app, a notebook, or the margins of a diary—and hope you can make sense of it later. It works, but it’s tedious, easy to fall behind on, and hard to turn into anything useful after the fact.
Glimpse started with a simpler idea: log a glucose reading, log a meal, and let Glimpse connect the two. Patterns that used to take a notebook and a lot of squinting can surface on their own—like noticing your glucose tends to run higher after certain meals, or that readings look different depending on the time of day.
Over weeks and months, those individual entries add up to something more useful than a stack of numbers: trends, averages, and a clear summary you can bring to your endocrinologist or care team, instead of trying to reconstruct months of readings from memory before an appointment.
That’s the thinking behind our core philosophy: log less, understand more. We’re building Glimpse gradually, starting with the fundamentals of manual tracking and simple trends, with a longer-term goal of making health information easier to understand for anyone who wants a clearer view of their own patterns—and one less notebook to keep track of.
Glimpse is an early-stage product. We haven’t published clinical studies, partnered with medical institutions, or made claims about health outcomes—and we won’t, unless and until we have legitimate evidence and the appropriate approvals to support them. Glimpse shows patterns in the glucose, meals, and other information you choose to record; it does not diagnose diabetes or any other condition, and it should never be used to decide medication or insulin doses.
